I have a 3 week old Whiting true blue that I bought from Mcmurray hatchery.
Her wings feather curl towards her head. She has stay small and have not grown anything but her flight feathers. I am assuming that is what they're, but I am new to this all.
She is feisty and has the mind of an older chick. But I added in a picture of one of my 2 week old chick(her company buddy)for comparison.
I have been feeding her cooked egg yolk for 2 days now. I was planning to do it for a week and put her back with the others. I read that it could help boost her festher growth, but I could be wrong.
Please give me any advice as this is my first year raising chicks. Should I keep her or is it better to kill her. Will she be okay or is the wing deformity too much? Have you seen this deformity before? If so, how do they look now? Is feeding her the cooked egg yolk a bad idea?
