Yeah we had a car like that..it's frustrating!

We had a brand new Grand Prix, super charged - purple! loved that car... we had 1700 miles on it, and we basically just finished burying my grandma, and my cousin smashed into the back of me pushing me into my sisters car in front of me. We were able to drive it 3 hr to get home (I hurt my foot standing on the break pedel cause I knew he was going to hit us). the cop felt sorry for us and didn't issue the cuz a ticket. But my cuz had to rent a truck to haul his car home (michigan to nebraska)! Then we hit several deer with it (one at 100 mph while we were passing someone) yeah ok that was fast, but there were several cars in a short distance open to passing. We had hardly any damage to the car as opposed to the 45 mph deer hits... crazy! Anyway, the body shop had paint set aside for us because we had it in the shop at least once a year... then 2 yrs ago my DH hydroplaned it on the Hwy, and hit a divider wall, took out the top of the back fender and roof support. The insurance co totalled it.

I pray I don't have the same luck with the new challenger! *note to self, don't let the DH drive it!

I had a Pepsi driver get "stuck" on my car in a Target parking lot. He kept reversing into it, not comprehending why he couldn't back up further. Security cams caught it all. This was my brand new Acura. Repairs took a week. I got the car back for two hours, was driving on the freeway, saw lights from about a mile away. Slowed, saw there was an accident, CHP on scene. Truck behind me rear ends me. The guy gets out and says, "Your car looks fine, don't worry about it, let's just go." My bumper was bent under my tail pipes and was broken in half.

I hope you get everything taken care of, insurance can take forever to pay out. My BF use to have a silver ford contour. That thing had to have been hit a dozen times in less then two years. One old lady turned right into the side of it once on a 45 MPH road. An older man from florida pulled in front of him once on a rainy night. Brian (my BF) was going slow but couldn't stop in time. It got hit a couple times while parked. That's only what I can remember right now. That car was an accident magnet.

That's just ridiculous. If you make a mistake, at least fess up. I had a lady rear end my Prius and her darn car was still “attached” to mine when I got to the parking lot. She denied everything. And because we have wonderful no fault insurance up here I am stuck with the bill.
