Ugh. I’m afraid my chickens(17w) have worms. They’ve been “molting” for 5 weeks. there are 18 of them so not sure if they’ve been molting this whole time or just one after the other. Or if the feather loss is a symptom of a worm issue? They look like healthy birds but I take their run every 2 days to eliminate feather piles. I clean their coop 2x week. Change their water daily. But found this in a nasty poo on a roasting bar. Photo 1 is the poo after I took what I assumed was worm out. Picture 2 is suspected worm. Thoughts? Identification? Treatment?

Looks like cecal poop which is produced about once out of every 8-10 poops.
I don't see a worm, can you circle it?

Photos of birds if you are worried about the feathers.

At their age, it's likely juvenile molt, young birds go through a couple of molts before they get their adult feathers, then most of the time they will molt once a year afterward.

Thank you for your time and advice. I will get a photo of the birds. This just caught my eye as at was such a loose slimy poo and then I saw the tube like structure. I used my poo shovel to move what I thought was the worm out. It didn’t pull apart. It stayed whole and retained its shape which was when I took the picture.
