She's got the bare belly, but....It must be that time of year for broodys. My Jersey Gena has that look in her eye again. She hasn’t fully committed but she is only 2 years old and this will be her 8th time broody so I have gotten pretty good at noticing the early signs. I can’t check her belly for a broody patch because she never grew her feathers back in since her last broody in January. I fully expect to find her in a nest box tonight when I get home from work.
She just layed an egg at 1:30, long time lounger since before dark last night.
Watching to see what she does now.. the plot thickens.
