I have begun working recently and am gone from the house from 8am sometimes until 8pm and I don't feel it's fair to my dogs to leave them this long. Doing this is breaking my heart, but I really want what is best for them.
The Chihuahua is 8 months old and has CKC papers that can be sent in, I just never bothered. He is a blue brindle in color, wish the brindling would show up better in pics. He is great with kids, dogs, cats, and chickens. LOL He will not go to a home with kids under 8, as he is so tiny. He weighs approx. 1.5lbs. on a good day.
Very sweet guy, loves to snuggle, is not nippy or yippy like some Chihuahuas tend to be, thinks he is a big dog, which is funny to see. He runs with my St. Poodles, protecting the property
Or so he thinks. He is not neutered and if you are interested in breeding him, he would be a good candidate as he's interested in the ladies. He has never met a stranger. He is a fine example of the breed, great apple head, nice long Chi body, not too long legs, just all around a handsome fellow. He came from a breeder in NC, and his parents are actually from Puerto Rico. At 8 months, he's just about done growing, so I think he'll top out at 2lbs. Below are pics of him, if you feel you could give him a great home, please contact me, PM or email at hernibsie at hotmail dot com Thanks for looking
Same goes for the Feist/Beagle mix. She is 3 years old, spayed, knows all basic commands, housebroken, ADORES kids of any age, loves other dogs, cats, and loves my chickens, too. She has saved my Guineas, in fact, from Coyotes. Very good guard dog, but she is small-only around 15-20lbs. She stays on the property and will only run off to tell other dogs to go away, she always come right back.
She's a pretty blonde color with some cream coloring on her underside. I adore this dog so much, so I want her to go to the right home for her. That means kids are almost a must, unless you're an outside type person and she can hang out with you. She loves camping, riding in the car, and follows us all over the property. She lets my kids leash her and drag her through the woods as their "protection" from wild animals
Just an all around good dog. Probably the best dog I've ever had. I'd like an adoption fee of $50 for her to insure she goes to a great home. Below is a recent picture of her:
