Der ... didn't even think of looking there.

She's acting like she's drunk. When she can stumble her way to the food and water she is still eating and drinking. No eggs in about a week, though. Color is still good. Just can't seem to stand right and/or balance.

Hey, I googled chicken acting drunk. Lots of different comments.. From dehydration to Mareks. Some say to give her cat food and vitamins, some say take her to a vet. Most say separate from flock so she won't get pecked on and give her vitamins. Could be worms, could be from the treatment for worms. (lot of comments about this type of reaction from worm treatment) One person said your chicken could actually be drunk from eating too much fermented fruit. Could be overheated. Anyway, good luck and let us know.

I really don't have much to say but our thread was nearly at the bottom and we just can't have that kind of nonsense around here. I will just have to take it upon myself to keep our little refuge afloat.

Are there any duck breeders here? I have a breeding pair of pekin and would like to get my drake some new ladies of other flightless/quiet breeds.
Any sugestions?

I like my Cayugas and though they're not my favorite breed, the muscovies seem to be pretty quiet. And they can apparently eat mosquitoes right out of the air.

LOL I've read that about the muscovies. I really would like a cayuga. Do they lay really dark eggs?
