They are near you. I buy lots of things from them.
Thank you!

I was getting ready for church this morning when I suddenly remembered that we do have a local nursery. I stopped there on the way home, looked over their selection, and bought six Rabbiteye type blueberry plants, all in one gallon pots:

Two or more varieties are recommended for cross-pollination, so I bought two each of Powderblue, Bluetif, and Premier (which is an earlier variety).

They didn't have any elderberry plants, but Isons does!

Then later in the afternoon I planted carrots, peas, rutabagas, and turnips.

We were out planting our second order of muscadines Friday and found that we only got two of one variety instead of two. I call Isons to report it and they said no problem, sorry, and we will fix it. When I went outside Saturday morning the replacement had already been delivered. No one has ever given me better service or choices than they have.

Here our tomatoes grew like weeds until they were waist high and then the leaves began to look like a flame thrower hit them.
I'm in central alabama & I think you're describing what we just call The Blight. Leaves turn gray/brown & wither. If it's the same thing, I've had pretty good success with removing the bad leaves as soon as they start to discolor; it really slows down the spread. Once the weather cools off, if the plants survive, they begin to look healthy again.

This year I'm planting mine on woven vinyl ground cover to keep soil from splashing up them when we get heavy rains. I just looked at our radar and it looks like your area of the state is getting a monsoon. Stay safe as it is the season for windy conditions.

I have to tell the story of Cow Flop Cake.

It's an incredibly rich chocolate cake. I got the recipe from a friend. It's baked in a springform pan, and the leavening is egg whites, beaten stiff. It rises nicely, but settles as it cools.

My friend said the first time she baked it, she took it out of the oven, lovely domed top. Wait 15 minutes, then remove the outer rim. She said when she went back to the kitchen to remove the rim, she called her daughter in and said, "What does this look like?" "Mom, it looks like a giant cow flop."

Thus the name, cow flop cake. She calls it that when she takes it to a pot luck, too.

I made it and it got renamed That Chocolate Cake. As in, "Sally, are you going to bring that chocolate cake to the company potluck?"
