Well. my next door neighbor has 2 males and only one female. I want to hatch at least another female for him, and maybe keep a pair for myself. 4 of these egg's are from his ducks, and the other's are from shipped egg's from out of state, so we should be able to continue breeding them. They are...
I think that they are. They have more room to move around now that they have graduated to the bigger pen.
I have a batch of the Welsh Harlequin ducklings that are due to hatch next month on the 20th. Busy, busy, busy. :th
The west coast over here has been in a drought, and much of the water table has been down. Don't worry about it, as no one can tell the weather what to do. If you do, it won't listen to you anyways.
Yes, that water is desperately needed to bring the water table back up. I was watching the news last night on tv and they were predicting an El Nino to start this summer.
When I was younger I got ahold of a few of those gunny sacks that they used to put potatoes in. I drew pictures on them and then made some of those rughooked rugs out of them. Embroidery was a hobby that I had too, and I did it by hand. Cross stitching was boring to me though, as it was too much...
I wouldn't doubt it, the way that crazy prices are on everything these days.
They might not remember her after 2 weeks. You might have to reintroduce her back into the flock as she would be a stranger to them now.
Thanks! I really love this breed! I had my neighbor help me to put the leg bands on the girls yesterday. I used the green ones for all the one's that I hatched last year on the left leg. I will use a different color on all the ones that I hatch this year when they are big enough.
