Bumble foot treatment timeline: when is it time for a vet?

Our Polish hen has a case of bumblefoot. The scab is pretty small, but the swelling is causing a little bit of a limp. For about 4 days we’ve been soaking in epsom salt, applying a drawing salve and Neosporin, and wrapping it. Tonight, we tried to soften the scab and squeeze/pull it off, but nothing happened. Should we continue this course for a few more days with the soaks and salves or just head in to a vet?

Also- if you aren’t faint hearted and are in Houston and just dying to help remove it, let me know!

I would give it much more time, and keep doing what you're doing. You're doing great!
I wouldn't see a vet unless you don't notice much improvement in a longer period of time.
