Oregano is a flowering plant in the mint family. It is native to temperate Western and Southwestern Eurasia and the Mediterranean region. Oregano is a perennial herb, growing from 20–80 cm tall, with opposite leaves 1–4 cm long. The flowers are purple, 3–4 mm long, produced in erect spikes.Oregano Seeds Called Ajwain, ajowan, or Trachyspermum ammi—also known as ajowan caraway, bishop's weed, or carom—is an annual herb in the family Apiaceae. It originated in India. Both the leaves and the seed‑like fruit of the plant are consumed by humans. The name "bishop's weed" also is a common name for other plants .

Healthy chickens equal healthy eggs.One of the most important things we can do as chicken keepers is to maintain the health of our flock. Many people turn to medicated feed to accomplish this (especially with chicks). However, I’ve never been very comfortable with that idea…with all of the over use of medication in our modern society – healthiest CHICKENS means healthy eggs that means one from a chicken that didn’t get fed medication all the time…I mean, there has to be a better way, right?!
There is! use oregano essential oil for chickens. We love to turn to nature for answers whenever we can, and we’ve found this natural option to be stellar (not to mention cheap and easy!). Oregano essential oil has powerful anti-microbial properties and is an amazing boost to the immune system of our chickens.
HOW TO USE OREGANO ESSENTIAL OIL FOR YOUR CHICKENS
The thing to remember is, using the highest quality of essential oils
I'm using denvis 100% pure oregano oil (which is easily avail on Amazon online in my country)
For chickens, all you need to do is add ONE drop of oregano essential oil to about a gallon of water, mix it up slightly, and your birds will continue to mix it as they drink their water. You can also add a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar as an extra natural supplement to aid in their digestion.
you can go separate sections too ..like once a week ACV & Once a week oregano oil
For chicks, add it to their feed. add one toothpick of oregano essential oil to a 2oz glass spray bottle of water, shake it up, and then mist the chicks feed lightly. This gives them a small dose of the oil without soaking their feed
Do it once a week
help maintain their healthy immune systems
