    I recently acquired some ducks and my 3 weeks old pekins prefer the bigger ones - azolla and silvinia molesta. All 3 are considered invasive but really useful for feeding chickens, ducks, and tilapia. I grow mines in separate tanks away from the ponds.

    its in my backyard... which has a small fence. theres a few cats in the area, but no problems yet. chickens are 5 months old tommorrow, hope they start laying soon. i think im going to modify the end with a door so i dont have to run around trying to catch them =p

    My hens havent started laying yet, theyre just about to make 5 months, but ive seen a dozen being sold on craigslist for $5-$6 here in Hawaii.
