Are you offering oyster shell in a separate feeder on the side? I would also stop feeding the bread and DE and not to much fruit. Best of luck with her.
I'm having trouble with my chicks hatching they can't get out of the shell, are my shells too hard? I feed layer crumbles because I had egg bound issues when I wasn't feeding the layer. I also have oyster shell on the side. Any thoughts on what to do?

I would not use DE in the chicks bedding it can cause respiratory problems. I had some leg mites and used Frontline spray for kittens put in a dropper put 3 to 4 drops on back of neck. They are adults...
