I really think so. I refuse to have aggressive roos in our flock, we have 8-9 roos most times. Our Polish roos were cuddled from a young age and turned out awful, as were their chicks. My nice roos make nice babies, regardless of handling

My WTB cross eggs were hit and miss with fertility too! I’ve always had 100% fertility and was very disappointed. We had a huge flock change up and our head roo is now a bantam. We have some lovely cockerels that aren’t being accepted by the mature hens still. Our younger pullets in the same age...
