Something got my drake! My hen is all alone now. :(

Well, I have someone wanting to buy them.

Okay, I hate to say it but I'm thinking about selling my pekin pair and starting over with a flock of muscovies. They are two big and healthy adult birds. One is a hen and the other is a drake. What should I price them?

That's not supposed to happen with poultry and waterfowl. It's show rules.

In my own opinion, I wouldn't order eggs because they have such LOW hatch rates.

Hahaha! Yeah just keep it as close as you can to 37.5 C and the humidity ranges from around 45% to 55%, and on the last three days of incubation the humidity should be bumped up to round 65%-78%. That's just from my own experiences with duck eggs.

My Pekins are 7 months old now. They aren't at my house but at my cabin. Are they laying yet because I haven't been in a while.

How old is he and he may be just scrubbing it and getting it dirty.

Well they are getting big!!! It turns out I only have 1 hen and two males. Is that ok or is it bad?

Haha! They won't be hunted. They will be able to be able to grow in #'s of they go broody.

They are out there at our hunting and fishing property. Other people have cabins out there, too. A couple brings their grandson out there and they feed them and they told us that their grandson calls them his ducks! Hahaha he ain't but 4 or 5. LOL! Hahaha
