    I believe if you want that rich mahogany partridge color pattern you want dark, reddish, brown chicks.

    The dark brown partridge, & the yellows/red look promising. One other yellow have the partridge stripes, that's a good sign.

    Just keep breeding from what you have, & you may end up with a good partridge. Partridge is a recessive, so it could be hidden within some of your birds, mixing it up, with reds you have could bring it out.

    Sorry your hatch didn't do well. I've got chicken eggs due to hatch in 13 days, & duck eggs due on the 12th of April.

    I use an Incuview, Incubator. Holds 27 large chicken eggs, or more depending on size. Can incubate egg sizes, from Quail, Chicken, Pheasant, Duck, Turkey, & Goose.
