    No. Whenever the power goes out the unit ends up resetting itself. The total for the year is 9.24" but that also includes the snow melt and not just the rain. Snow melt when the ground is frozen does not help. Most of it sublimates (directly from snow to vapor) and is carried off by the wind.

    It's 17°F here, windy and spitting snowflakes. This is the warmest it has gotten today. Indeed Ralphie is missed.

    This stuff wasn't local here. It grows everywhere here, where it's watered and where it isn't watered. It does much better where it is watered. It is entirely up to you. If you want them, I will box them up and send them. If you don't want them, that is fine too.

    The Monarchs here spend lots of time on flowers that are not milkweed. I see them on the Rocky Mountain Bee Plant a lot.

    I know. That is how I ended up with them. Someone illegally broadcast the seed along the roadway. They don't understand the concept that it isn't their property and they have no right to scatter seeds wherever they want to.

    They are a nasty invasive weed that is impossible to get rid of once established. They spread by both roots and seeds. You can't dig deep enough to get all the roots if you try to taker them out that way.

    I just got rid of 8 crammed full grocery bags of milkweed pods. Look at all the seeds you could have had.

    35 years of no insurance on this house. Replaced shingles that needed replaced when the house was bought. That's all.

    Here the problem has become too much catch and release. The fish population has increased exponentially causing an overpopulation which in turn results in stunted fish growth. Too many fish competing for the same food source.
