When I get an egg eating hen I put golf balls in the nests to stop her from pecking. Have tried ping pong balls and some were dented during use. I think the golf balls being harder helps break the habit somewhat better.

On day 19, no visible action yet. I keep talking to them watching for egg movement. Come on eggies, you can do it.

I agree, the app is very glitchy still. I rarely go in desktop mode, not use to it and then I have to move my screen too much. To each there own though.

What do you use to trim them? Have one with a 3 inch long set but he so far stays away from Mom, Dad and Coty. Worried my hens will be bare soon.

Well the broody eggs are gone. Partial development then quit to turn nasty. Ewww! So hopefully the eggs in the incubator will have better results. I need to candle them!

I vote for a badger issue. Try to lock them in at night. Check your coop is secure. Cover hole under stairs with fencing if you can. Setting a game camera would help determine pest as well. You may need to trap it if able, large live trap may hold one.If it is one you may have a heck of a...
