I recommend not doing this to chickens at all unless you have someone experienced to teach you and guide you (IN PERSON!)
Silkies and other bantam are much too delicate for such an invasive procedure. I cannot let this comment go, sorry about that, I really prefer people not harming their chickens.
Is that the only possibility when you get a smooth silkie? That the drizzle gene is involved? I thought smooth/fluff and straight/fizzle were two genes independent of eachother?

Her bird actually had a piece of something stuck in her sinus cavity and it caused the ear infection and then abscess.

Have you figured out exactly what it is that caused it? Perhaps we can help? Start from the beginning....
I would trim the feathers of the beard and crest away from the eyes. Some out of this batch have completely obscured vision and I've had to trim them. They practically just learn how to "be blind" the same way a chicken who was born without eyes does it. Still able to eat and drink and get...
some will roost. I prefer to teach mine to be chickens so they don't get pooped on or poop in their butt feathers from sleeping and pooping, does that happen?
The goat liquid will medicate more chickens. The 10% liquid goat wormer is the same strength as the 10% horse paste.
Each one is .5cc for 1kg (2.2 lbs.)
Valbazen is something you have to order online, probably...I would have to.
pyrantel I have heard horrible things about using it in...
