Crossing a Blue Jersey Giant Roo

Hello all! So I am going to try to hatch eggs for the first time this year. I have a Blue Jersey Giant roo and 6 hens-red orpington, black laced red wyandotte, EE, and three red stars. I was curious if anyone has mixed these breeds with a BJG roo. Also any tips for incubating eggs for the first...

Black Jersey Giant Roo over Blue Hen

I've recently introduced Blue Jersey Giant hens into my flock which was previously all Black. Does anyone know what the coloring of the chicks from the Black roo and Blue hen would be? And also, would they be visibly different at hatch so I could tell the pure blacks from the black/blues?

"Teacup" is a gentle giant that I can no longer keep. He's just over one year old. Despite his size, weirdly, he always defers to other roosters. Hand raised, completely non-aggressive, yet very protective of the flock from predators. Size makes him pretty "hawkproof". Littleton MA, but...
