Yes, although that is a skill I'm still working to improve as well as my vibrato.

I dont think i would be considered super good but I have no comparison so idk. Every time i think about how long i've been doing it i feel like i should be better.

I can't do vibrato yet either. My teacher always said "Put a little wiggle on it even if you don't know vibrato." Every time she said it she looked STRAIGHT. AT. ME. Come on bro. Vibrato without knowledge = bad form and bad hand in future.

Wow! I looked down the page and saw the LOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG slurs. We did a VERY easy version of O Mio Babbino Caro. violas get 0 hard pieces in the orch. I was in.

My teacher says its something that just clicks and @Bakbuk said that as well so I'm taking their words for it. I almost have it but not quite

So true. I am a gripper. My teachers have always said to let your hand's weight do the work.
But whatevs, Don't really care.

I dont play any musical instrument, but i have a trumpet, guitar and keyboard piano. Somewhere is my sisters old clarinet. I can play a little piano and guitar but other than playing it once a year i dont do much.
