Hip Hillbilly Acres
Crowing
Hubby just returned from fetching eggs and putting chickens away for the evening and one eggshell was bloody. Only into this for a year and this is the first I have seen of that. He commented that it is from a new layer. But, humph, the youngest are too young to lay and the rest are over a year old. No one seem sick or messed with by predators.
I told him to wash the shell off and be sure to eat the egg tomorrow since the bloom will be gone after washing.
