I can't imagine how stressful that must be/have been. I had a perfect incubation and barely breathed for the whole month +!!

I went through a similar thing last year, although the power wasn't out as long. Most of the eggs made it through, only to have my incubator's thermostat go wonky and kill all of them in lockdown!!!

Goslings are so precious. Hopefully you end up with more eggs to incubate?!?!

Unfortunately, I don't have geese. I'd purchased the eggs.

Lol! I was and am a hermit type, always wanted to get lost in the mountains and be self-sustaining!

I've already taken the older eggs out of the other incubator and moved him over. Egg and all!

I think this one is going to be named Trooper, and the second one will be Tiger (as in the Rocky song Eye of the Tiger, by Survivor)
