I am sad to say I won't get to hatch them after all. The breeder cancelled the order for my friend. Maybe some other time!
Can't wait to see pictures! Hoping for hens for you!!

I’m glad with the one chick but we are 26 hours later now and it seems no more will hatch. I hope its a she, so it can stay. If the first signs are male, I try another hatch in Mai.

Kraai wanted to join Katrientje , so I got the divider out and enlarged the nestbox. I picked up two eggs to listen but they both didn't peep.

each country has different threats. ask them.

in greece it is IB and newcastle's. layers for farms might be vaccinated against marek's as well. marek's in greece is rare. I've heard only a few caged farms have had marek's and not often either.

Anyone here ordered layers pellets by the ton? What's the price where you are? We just ordered at €840 a ton for organic.
