The Honey Factory

I had snow (4+ in.). It is very windy and hasn't stopped for days. The lows for the past two days were 9°F and 15°F. The highs for the past two days were 30°F and 27°F before todays high of 40°F brought the bees back out this afternoon. There are only about a half dozen of the braves ones venturing out.
It’s pretty nice here right now.

I could not care less. No one could pay me enough to force me to live where you live. Why don't you go hang out in the "southie" thread.
It’s more funner in here. (Spelling wrong on purpose).

Don’t mind me asking in all honesty why wouldn’t you like living here? I will have to admit my favorite place I lived was in Rochester, NH.

Too hot, too humid, too many people. No elk to hunt.

Humid, people, and the hunting your are correct. Heat is only bad for about 60 days lol , but it beats freezing to death for 6 months.
No one is freezing to death here no matter how much certain people like to exaggerate. If it gets cold I can put on more clothing. If it gets too hot, I can only remove so much clothing. Because of the low humidity here, we get to use swamp coolers instead of air conditioners.

Now lets return this thread back to the serious business of beekeeping.

I am excitedly waiting for my first nuc of bees to arrive!! It might be this month or maybe next month. I can’t wait!!!
I’ve never had bees before either.
I got notified today that the Italian bees that I ordered will be here in the morning.

That’s awesome, hoping you start a thread with lots of pictures.
If the temperature is warm enough tomorrow, I will add pics to this thread. If not, I may need to wait until Friday to be able to hive them.
