The NN new pullet layer layed her 2nd egg today, and I was out there again when she did it. I seen her hunch up and heard her grunting to push it out. It's a tiny bit bigger than yesterday's egg was. After she finished laying it she walked over to me so that I could pet her and give her praise...

Good, that should also help in keeping the hawk's and owl's out of there also.

Bigfoot's brother from the same hatch that I kept is doing well. He's gotten big and he was as big as his daddy when I rehomed Roger, but he hasn't started crowing or trying to mate yet.

I'm sorry that is happening to you @igorsMistress I haven't noticed any pigeon's over here, but there's some doves, grackles, and sparrow's. All of my chicken's seem to be doing well and are healthy. I have been sitting out there more with them again now that it hasn't been as hot and I don't...

Sorry that has happened to her @igorsMistress If it happened at the dog park, I hope the other dog got a bit of damage too. You just can't trust how other people's dog's will be. I hope that she heal's up fast. I don't ever take Buster to a dog park, and he has a big section of an electric fence...

They stink because they drink their pee and it run's down their beard's. They female goat's like it though, and for them the smellier the better.

I hope that they get de-horned. Those horn's that grow on those boy's are wicked.

I figured that it would most likely have been a hawk and not an owl. Don't owl's mostly just move about at night? I have heard before that breeding a AC to none AC hen's will produce sort of a sexlink by only the girl chick's having the darker skin, but not the boy's. I guess that would make it...

I'm glad that you still have the rest of them. I don't have anymore boy's to spare right now, so I can't help you with that. Whatever did that will be back.

I'll post pictures of the Dorking's that Pam took with her camera phone as soon as she email's them to me and I can save them to my computer. I think she might have taken a picture of the 4 little Nn chick's too. @igorsMistress I'm glad that you found where those ant's were. @N F C It's not...

I found 3 or 4 more anthill's on the back part of the property yesterday, so I doused them with the Permethrin 10 mix that I use. Hopefully I got them all now. I'm looking forward to what they say that our temp's will be next week.
