Couldn't the bear just body slam the lion? A main might keep claws out, but it won't really help blunt force trauma

If something leaped at me, my first instinct would be to swat it back against the ground /away from me. I haven't seen many bear attacks though, so maybe they dont have the same reaction

You would be reacting as a human and not a predator. Bears can and will run if scared. But I wouldn't want to find out personally

I am. I think the lion would whoop booty but the grizzly does have size advantage. And their paws are huge. But Jaws is right, the grizzly would probably body slam the lion. Dang it, I refuse to tell my hubby he might be right!
