Hello all! Checking in and catching up . Since my last post we were tickled to (incubator) hatch 5 pretty little rhodebars 2 girls and 3 boys, July 4th babies! After one very inconsistent, mean as a snake, broody marans decided to change her mind and not be broody anymore...we were lucky enough...
Soooo bummed...lost 2 nine week old pullets in the last 2 days...no sign of illness...no sign of predators...fine one day and gone the next...any ideas? Gave the remaining four from the same pen a drop of nutradrench in their beaks and added electrolytes to their water...not sure what else to do?

Hey! Just catching up and checking in :)...currently have lil chicks in my living room, medium sized chicks in the garage, and big chicks in the grow out pen...thinking back it would seem that I got a little carried away with the hatching bug this spring!!

We ordered them off ebay...so I guess that in and of itself is a bit of a gamble...but the breeders "name" was ray with several numbers behind...the eggs were superbly packed no complaints there at all...they sent an extra and shipping was very prompt...
