Thanks! No more external pips yet, but I have a broody hen with eggs supposed to hatch tomorrow that might’ve started earlier too. Going to check her eggs now!

5 internal and one just externally pipped!
I must’ve gotten the dates wrong, broody hen doesn’t have any internally or externally pipped yet lol

I started popping off the cap about 30 minutes ago at over 24hr mark since I saw the external pip. Still alive and chewing. Had a small vein still so I’m just monitoring and may have to add some moisture to the membrane if he doesn’t continue to progress on his own.

He hatched around 9 but looks like there’s still some unabsorbed yolk…..will see how he’s doing in the morning!
And I just realized I haven’t set up anything for a brooder yet
