I'm making some that glow green now. I wanted to make purple ones. But the spool doesn't fit. I need to figure out if I can put the filament on a spool that fits.

You may need to put it a different place, but mine just sits next to the printer and feeds in. Works perfectly for 1kg spools. For smaller 500g spools I have an arm that attaches to the side rail directly above where that spool is sitting (side panel comes off easily)

Ill definitely have to make this im glad it was a hit.

In our family once a year someome gets a multi rolls of duct taped, zip tied, million timed wrapped present. So i think that would top it.

It's a rite of passage for our kids. They all get some kind of great gift diabolically wrapped at least once.

First one got his first cell phone wrapped in 14 progressively larger boxes up to a dishwasher box. And the phone wasn't even in the final box. Just a slip of paper with his number on it. He had to call it to find the phone, which was on top of a ceiling fan blade.

Second one got a PS4 after a treasure hunt which involved 3 houses/ families on the street, a vacant lot, a ROT13 cipher, a clue in Quenya, a cash bribe to Grandpa, and digging a hole in the desert.

I think these 2 got off pretty easy. I'm slipping in my old age.

Be glad the fan didn't get turned on. I know what happens to stuff on fan blades.
