So I bought 5 6 wk old pullets from a hatchery and I’ve been noticing that one of the EE lays back on her legs all the time. She gets up and runs around and jumps up on the roost and looks fine otherwise, but as soon as she stops moving she she lays down and her legs are like kinda out in front of her. I’ll see if I can get a pic. She is the biggest of all the new pullets... could it be a growth spurt issue?
*fyi they were vaccinated for mareks and they are still eating medicated chick food.

Can you start some human vitamin B Complex 1/4 tablet crushed or grated into some cooked egg or wet feed daily? Sitting or walking on hocks and curled under toes may be signs of riboflavin deficiency.

Oh! Thank you for this advice... I will get some first thing. Should I give it to all of them in the feed... or is it better crushed up in the egg-as you said.

It won’t hurt the others, but I would try giving it to her especially so that she gets close to a 1/4 tablet. B vitamins are hard to overdose, so if the others get some it is no harmful.
