I have 2 sebastopol geese. One boy and one girl. I'm guessing they are around 3 weeks, maybe 4. I've lost track. Anyway, I noticed that my boy (haven't named them yet) has a squeak when he is sleeping. Is this a baby gooses way of snoring? Is this a bad thing? He did have trouble when he hatched. Mother Goose left the nest when he was entering the world and baby got cold and was very weak. With some TLC and 24 hrs later he was doing much better. He seems a bit younger then his sister who is a day older then him. So, I'm just curious about the squeak when he sleeps. It's the cutest sound.... lol. It will be quiet outside and you will hear this squeak coming from the brooder box. I have it where I can open a side so they don't feel so closed in. Thanks.

HAHAHA.......... nope, no trumpet. Mine must have one of those squeaky things from a squeaky toy stuck up it's nose. It's a high pitch. So cute to hear at night.

Sleep?
What sleep?

My goslings never sleep!
They spent the entire night trying to get the pictures to come out of the newspaper!
I literally had to turn off the darn brooder lamp to get them to settle! lol

But at 2am again I hear...

***riiiiiiiiiipppp***
**SQUEAK!**
