All the Christian Homeschoolers!

Ah, I almost always go barefoot. I don't like to do that in shoes though, I don't want them getting gross with sweat and whatnot. I've gone barefoot hiking too, and it's great fun.

You're catholic, right? What does the catholic prayer day tend to look like?
I'm only vaguely familiar with regular Orthodox prayers.
I use sandals, so not a problem. I also don't hike, so not a problem there either.

Prayers as a Catholic:
It really depends on the family. Here we have morning prayers, Rosary, and a few other ones. Around 1 hour or so. We also pray the Angelus at 12 and 6. Not all Catholic families do this, sadly. And there's Mass on Sunday.

The few friends I have in person are mostly from church. Both of them are weirdos like me. One friend, we don't have a lot of things in common in life, or a lot of common interests, but we tend to think similarly and we both have compassion for each other, and she's probably my best friend. We always have a good time together. The other, we have some common interests, but we just plain get along great. She's a good friend. My dad says "*my name* and *friend's name* together are my least favorite person.". We are 1 + 1 = 11. 😂
I have a few male friends, but I don't really talk to them too much because I feel like it's rude to my boyfriend, but they're all okay with that. They're good guys.
Other than that, no one, just folks online.
I have a friend. His main interests when I met him were potty jokes. I don't particularly care for most potty jokes. He's one of the only friends I consistently see most Sundays. The other one is a old but not old person. He's one of the best people that I've talked to. And I've fixed his computer.

I hate folding laundry so it just sits in my clean laundry basket on on a chair until I've either worn it all and the cycle restarts, or someone is coming over and my room has to be presentable.
I don't even make my bed. No guests are really allowed and I use the logic that I'm just going to trash it while sleeping every night. Same goes for the heaps of laundy. Ok, just one mountain. I have two of a few of the shirts I like, and I use the same type of pant all the time, so it's not hard for me to dig some clothes out of the pile.

I think in Orthodoxy, it also somewhat depends on what the family wants to do and there are prayers that I believe are intended for the priest, so I'm not clear on everything. But there are morning and evening prayers, there's a list of prayers for every hour, and all kinds of prayers that are done for specific reasons throughout the year depending on fast and feast days, etc. There's always Sunday Matins and liturgy, I think there is often Wednesday Paraclesis, and also depending on feast and fast days, there are other services. I am not Orthodox, but will be eventually after I marry, so I'm not very well aware of all of it.

I don't make my bed because of the way I intentionally twist up my blankets when I sleep. I don't move in my sleep, but I like having the blanket wrapping me up, not just on top of me. The reason I don't use a sheet. My blankets get washed, and I go to bed clean, so it isn't an issue.

I have 4 close friends but for the longest time until like last year I had one friend. She's still the one I'm closest to and can tell anything. But we moved churches and there were more kids similar to my age there. I'm the oldest in the group with the three newer friends being 2.5-3 years younger than me but since we have similar interests and none of them were ever super immature acting we just grouped up.

I had no friends until I was sixteen. None at all. My mother didn't have us in any regular extracurriculars that allowed us to make friends, and aside from our church being small, they always treated me strangely. I had ADHD and so they thought I was weird and gross, and we're always sneering at me and avoiding talking to me. I was just 'normal' and didn't know how to talk to people. And blood and mud didn't bother me like it bothered them. They were also all public schooled and city dwellers. Ah well.
