I have a 3 year old black coop maran that's not doing well. Lethargic, sitting all the time, can't jump up to the roost, watery poops, and not eating or drinking on her own today. She hasn't laid in well over a year and a half. I really don't know what's wrong with her. It seems like it could be EYP or even blackhead. Attached a pic of her most recent poop, although there's a lot of really watery poop in her crate from earlier that looks like urine, so I know that's not good. I'm in AZ so it's hot and their poops are usually watery, but she's indoors right now. I called a vet in my area that supposedly sees chickens and he just said the best he could do was prescribe an antibiotics, so he called in 125mg amoxicillin 0.4ml twice a day. Does that dosage sound right or too low? She's 4.5lbs.
I'm not really sure what else to do for her. I'm doing my best to get some food and water into her hoping she'll pull through.
