Is there an attractive chart that shows popular breeds of chickens? I would like it to show hens and roosters for each breed and it would be nice if it had both brown-egg layers, like Rhode Island Red, and white-egg layers, like Leghorn.

Something that is attractive and can be displayed on the wall of a shop would be nice. It could be a print based on paintings of chicken breeds.

Does anyone know of something like this?

I know my local farm store has a couple fantastic full-sized posters showing the most popular chicken breeds. Those posters were made by the hatchery where they get their chicks for sale. I can't remember exactly what they were, but I think one had a picture of chicks/adults in that breed, and the other I think showed what color the eggs each breed would give you. For a high quality poster, I'd contact the hatcheries - you might even get one sent to you for free!

Also, Google pictures has lots of photos you could print out. For example:

Here is one from Mana Pro which I think is a feed company, so maybe other feed companies might have posters for sale.

Even if you have to pay for a poster from a hatchery or a feed company, it would probably be of a much higher quality than you could print out at home on your computer. Good luck.

Those both look nice. I especially like the one that says based on paintings by Paul Chapman.

I wish it had hens and roosters.

Maybe I will have to get more than one.

Very nice posters. I think the Poster Standard is close to what you are looking for. Check out the link and maybe give them a call. Other hatcheries may have additional options. In any case, the hatchery posters I see at our local farm store are much better than anything I could print out at home.

Amazon.com also sells some chicken posters, but I find them more artistic and less informational like you described. Still, it is worth a look.
