I recently ordered some quail eggs, and am worried not many will hatch. I want to know the best hatching method for shipped eggs, to ensure a good hatch rate. Thanks!

Ah okay but I am worried they won’t be viable eggs anymore because the eggs are already going to arrive a little lateSome people have really fancy methods, but I would definitely let them settle for 24 hours.
Ah okay but I am wondering. Does not turning the eggs truly affect the hatch rates? because I have heard that by not turning the eggs the embryos could get stuck to the side of the egg and die. That is my biggest worry when it comes to not turning eggsIf they are fertile you will have hope. Don't turn them for a couple days, some people say 3 if the aircells are loose. i had to wait 7 on one shipped egg.
When do your eggs arrive? I'm hoping that @Nabiki & @Kiki will chime in.Ah okay but I am wondering. They are scheduled to arrive around april 21-may 5 which is why I am worried about them being unviable.

Thank you! yes, thee eggs have already shipped i ordered them yesterdayA big part of the problem is that you don't know how old the eggs were when they shipped or how they were handled during shipping. I don't know how critical it is to get them in an incubator soon or how much, if any, they need to settle.
If you have a reason to believe that they are kind of old I'd put them in the incubator and start that process. Can you put them in your incubator pointy side down and not turn for a day? If so, that's what I'd do. I don't know if it is right or wrong, but it's what I'd try. If you have to lay yours down in the incubator, same thing. Don't turn for a day.
I appreciate your concern about not turning them for a while but they are unlikely to stick that soon. There are other benefits to turning too but not turning for a day should be OK for them.
Have they already shipped?
