Hey ya'll,
This is my first day as a member of BYC (even though I've read the forums for years), and I thought I'd introduce my Black Australorp Bantams to ya'll since they, from what I have gathered, are somewhat of a rarity. I received my chicks from a breeder in Wisconsin last summer, so this spring they will (hopefully) be producing plenty of eggs to spare. I'm interested in working with others on perpetuating and improving the breed, so if you'd like me to put you on a wait list for chicks and/or hatching eggs please message me. Also, since I have 8 Barred Rock Bantam hens (purebred), I will also be producing Black Sex Link chicks as well from the cross with my Black Australorp Rooster. For those wondering, I'm located in Ames, IA. Glad to be here, and looking forward to getting to know some of you. Thanks.
