I’ve finally decided to make my own thread to stop filling the international BCM thread and @wrathsfarm ‘s thread with random nonsense!

I am a breeder of Brahmas, Marans, Silver Duckwing Welsummers, Silkies and more, and wanted a place to share all of this with my friends here on BYC, while not being off topic on other threads.

I’m going to post random pictures and updates, so anyone feel free to discuss, and I’ll try to answer any questions too!

My goals for 2025:

Buy F0 dark cuckoo marans hens

Hatch F1 DCM x BCM for my Golden Cuckoo marans project.

Sort fertility out in my Brahmas

Hatch female olive eggers

Breed out single comb silkies

Hatch more Welsummers from the new cockerels

Hatch the next generation of my ‘grouse-leg’ barnyard crosses (further explanation soon)

I appreciate all this seems random now but as I update you’ll see what I mean, and now people can see my progress and hold me up to my goals!

Yes of course, the more the merrier. I’ll probably mention it on the BCM chat too to see if the folks there want to follow along.

@2ndTink , I still need to judge that Brahma boy of yours, so if you want to post more pics of him here or on Wrath’s thread, I will finally do it.

I was sure there was a section called this but completely missed it. I don’t know how important it is, but I’ll try and sort it (not sure how you ask though).
