Can you give a chicken Paracetamol????

Will she pull through this of am I cruel keeping her alive ?

I have a Mynah with one eye. She lost it when her nest was brought down and one of the sticks hit it. They both fell 30’. They now are two of my most treasured pets. She doesn't even know she has one eye. Animals are amazing!

They are beautiful so glad they pulled through my little last is 6 days old today she’s got infection in hock joint so hops around and he eyeball is yellow and swallow shut I posted pictures yesterday I just don’t no if I’m cruel keeping her alive or if she will recover from this with love and care she’s eating and drinking and pooing I just want her to have a chance at life

This is her the little black one the day she was out the incubator not a problem perfectly healthy the next day she just had a turn

Seems she is doing the three most important things right now. Let her rest, drink and eat.

Yeah she is an chirping more today iv given her eye drops and some calpol for any discomfort or pain but only small amount an waiting on vetrx to arrive today but I don’t no what to give her for her infected hock joint an swelling do you recommend anything

How do you know her hock is infected? If just sore, swollen just needs rest.

 

[Eggcessive]

Do not give acetominophen (calpol, paracetamol) to any chickens. It is toxic. Aspirin can be used.
