Cat attacked quail.

Hello, so I have 4 quail, 3 female and 1 male. I leave out my quail in the grass inside a small cage just for some fresh air. But sadly, when I was gone for a bit, a cat came and attacked the side of her head and eye and died sadly. I just felt very bad and sad for her as when I came in to feed them, she would be waiting there for me and jumping. I felt bad for her because she maybe felt alot of pain and was very scared. I just wanted to know what I should do to the other quail as they are fine and if you guys have any advice for me. Thanks.

So sorry for your loss!I would just keep the others under better security as long as they’re not in shock or anything.

Unfortunately, everything likes to eat quail. You need to make sure that if you are going to keep them outside that they are in a predator proof enclosure.
