cat attacking hawks

Anyone ever see a cat attack a hawk to steal its prey? Near my barn i saw a red tail eating something and a big feral attacked it and they got into it a bit with the hawk flying off and the feral running with his food. Really strange. Was not one of mine. The hawk is the same hawk that killed one of my guineas in the summer. The cat looked really beastly though. I have seen the cat before he is a bully and actually chased my bengal. But hes scared of the birds lol

Hunger is the determining factor. If feral was fed,,,,,, would not have risked his bacon trying to chase away a fierce hawk.
In my avatar are ALL FERALS. Yes...... I feed them and provide garage shelter freechoice. They do not bother my chickens AT ALL.
BTW,,, all are fixed and have shots.
Maybe offer your feral some food when you see him. What can I say,,, I LUV all creatures.
