Chick with legs in different directions

Hello, I have a month old silkie chick (Blizzard) who has a serious issue with her legs. One goes straight back where her foot actually faces backward and the other goes straight front. I realize it's probably too late to fix it, but does anyone have any suggestions to help her get around (a brace or something). Please don't just tell me to cull her. I know that is one of my options, but I'd like to try everything else first. Thank you so much!

I would make a split, I've done it with chickens and even goats, you can make it out of tiny popsicle sticks and gauze. she is so cute.

Did you just get this chick? Has she had splay legs since hatch? There are a number of leg issues in new chicks. Splay leg is common, then slipped tendon, and leg bone deformities such as varus or valgus, or rotated tibia are common.

I got her around 1.5 weeks old. The breeder told me she might have splay leg, but it wasn't that bad, and she got around just fine. I tried hobbling her, but she just laid there. And being new with chicks, I didn't know enough to stick with it. She was doing fine until the last week or so, when both legs just flattened out.

This is what I mean

We tried the bandaid and also a rubber band with straw. They still just flatten out. I could try the popsicle stick. Does it go between the legs or along the legs? It's so hard to see anything with her fluffy legs. I may need to wrap her entire legs in vet wrap to get a better idea of where to put the splint or hobble.

Splay leg is something that needs to be treated in the first couple of days of life, or it may not be able to be treated. Standing them in a small warmed glass can help using the leg muscles. I’m not sure that you can help her now.
