Ok I went to moisten the membrane again because it looked dry and it started chirping like crazy, it had pipped on the underside!!!Great idea! Prayers for your little struggler!

Wow great job helping that baby! You did awesome!! Sometimes it takes a day or two before the muscles of a chick with splay legs can strengthen enough to stand. If you have any doubts, post pics of the chick and the brace on the legs, either here or in the emergency section.Update - it hatched and I think it’s a rooster (of course!) lol
Still has cord attached and is tired, I had to help peel some shell off it.
Only other issue I had, one hatched leg first last night and it can’t bear weight on its legs. I’ve taped its legs but it can’t stand at all.
