**Asking for tips/advice--- only from people who have experienced something similar, please**

1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
-- 1 year and 2 months old. Not sure on weight.

2) What is the behavior, exactly.
--eating and drinking normal

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
--Dog attack happened Tuesday..

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
--n/a

5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
--open wounds, puncture wounds, limp

6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
--dog came into our yard and snatched chicken, we were able to get her back shortly after it happened.

7) What has the bird been eating and drinking
-- oats, pellets, little cracked corn, been drinking regularly
** good lord, the oats and corn are not her main feed- they are just treats!!

8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
-- a few runny ones, a few normal ones, haven't noticed any bloody stool

9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
-- peroxide on all wounds, triple antibiotic ointment, blue kote, coconut oil

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
-- not sure

11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
-- see video @

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use

The links to a video are going to an "empty album."
Can you try again?

A complete feed is better than corn and oats.
