I have one, Zoe, if you get one from a good breeder you won't have many issues, my girl has never been sick a day in her life! They do get acne, especially when they are "teenagers", but it clears up some when as they get older. She's currently in bad need of a grooming, but doesn't smell bad at all.
Zoe is not a barker, although she does howl (on que, rarely on her own), she's also housebroke, and never pooped in a shoe. Oh and no warts ever! She does have moles, and she gets a nice pretty tan in the summer, in winter she lightens up, but she's getting tan quicker and quicker as she gets older (she's 3 years old). She gets cold in the Winter and wears clothes, she prefers to sleep under the covers even in the summer. And I haven't needed sun screan on her, I have had to use it on my white and mostly white danes when we go out and spend allll day in the direct sunlight, and would probably put it on her to if we did, but so far I've not had her out in it like that, just day to day stuff.
I got her as a show prospect, but life got in the way so she was spayed last year. She's very sweet and loving, but she isn't/wasn't as trainable as my danes, she does listen very well though! And absolutely loves everyone! Although I wish I had socialized her alittle more.
I hope that helps!
(and Paisley is adorable! I love the black and whites, that is what I wanted originally!)
here are some pics!
