Please let me know if you think cockerel or pullet. I’ve labeled them in the first picture 1-4. I bought these from a Breeder who said they were all female. He says he checks gender by wings & he sells his cockerels to a company for butchering. Please let me know your thoughts, I’m curious about one possibly being a cockerel. Hopefully not because I have young children who go into our coop every day to play with our friendly adult hens & ducks & I wouldn’t want a rooster changing that dynamic.

Breeder also said they are purebred Ameraucanas that produce blue eggs. I don’t really care if they are Americauna or Easter eggers. I’ll love them anyway but I am curious to know their proper breed.

Meant to say I have young CHILDREN who go into the coop and play with our adult hens…

Well I suspected # 2 & possibly #4 to be cockerel but was hoping #4 was not since it’s comb is lighter color than #2. Ugh, I can keep roosters but not if they are aggressive with my young kids.
@TheOddOneOut are you sure #4 is male? I have seen you accurately predict on other posts so was glad you commented on this one….I was pretty certain #2 is cockerel so not surprised there because he is already sparring & the first one to look out for the other chickens…although they are all tiny LOL…but #4 is more docile & submissive with a comb that is more yellow than #2 & smaller (yet slightly larger than the other two that are for sure pullets)…
