[Chick_In_The_Burbs]

DH finished the base of the new coop last night! It's going to be awesome! Now, we just need walls, a roof, some doors and windows...

We have nine weeks until the chickies will be moving out, but I'm hoping the coop will be done by then. DH is sure it will be, but... The base took two Saturdays (one to decifer the building plans, one to actually put together the base). Considering each wall is different... I figure the two 'simple' walls on one weekend and then the other two will probably each take a weekend. Add the roof and at least one weekend being rained out... I'm thinking we'll be done in five to six weeks.

*Just showed this to DH. He's determined to beat my estimate.

Yeah, and he has a crow that would make the angels weep! Deep and throaty and manly! not like the Mille's who sound like a group of teenage boys that all got kicked between their legs! sheesh

This looks like a great deal for anyone up near Longmont. It would make a great run to attach to a coop - but you probably need to surround it with hardware cloth to keep predators out.
