So I had planned to repurpose an 8x10 metal shed into a coop. After having trouble with leaks, thinking about how I'd install nest boxes and roost bars with no wood to attach anything and having to create windows/vents so I don't roast my chickens I started looking at other options.
I came across this https://a.co/d/ghN8I4w and the price seems reasonable when compared to things listed as chicken coops being 3x's the price for the same size.
The two sizes I'm lookin at are the 6x8 or the 6x10. I like the translucent panels since a few could be replaced with hardware cloth for better ventilation and reinstalled when the weather is colder. The bottom potion being made of wood would mean I could easily attach nest boxes and roost bars to it.
I know building from scratch would be cheaper, but I just don't have the skill set for it.
Is there anything that makes it great as a greenhouse, but terrible idea for chickens?
ETA: It will be placed in the shadiest part of the yard.
