Hey all! I have 4 Delaware’s. I believe they are cockerels. Can anyone confirm?

I am anxiously awaiting my next batch of 15 they are supposed to ship feb 5th from cackle hatchery. Oh and I have another batch coming from privet hatchery march. This time I have ordered pullets. Figure I will get a couple cockrels and that's ok. I plan to wing band and track growth on both batches.
I love my Delaware hen I got from privet in spring 2016 so I hope to be as pleased with this next batch.
The end goal is to be able to hatch good Delaware from my flock. I know starting with hatchery stock it will take a while but there are absolutely No breeders within reasonable driving distance from me so here we go!

I'm a new Delaware chick mom. I ordered 15 from Cackle Hatchery and received 17 in mid-April. They will be split up between myself and 2 other folks once they're old enough to be sexed. Pretty sure I would have lost one already if it weren't for this site!

Thought I'd make a thread on Delewares knowing there a great breed! So talk away my enthusiasts!

Also, I would like to see pics and hear from people trying to breed the purebred Deleware.

I know for me I just have hatchery quality. But still find them AMAZING birds :love

Here is Little White And Spot. One looks for pure than the other. ( the more speckled neck one) Agree

Love the breed. Beautiful and friendly. Hens want to be picked up and carried around. This is a picture I took this morning of my rooster that I will be mating this year.
