I have injected food coloring into eggs in the past and eventually added the birds to my laying houses . Don't feel like dealing with the hassle of it this year . Wondering if any hatcheries are still doing it .

My grandchildren love them at Easter . The birds are kept here on the farm and live out normal chicken lives as layers .
It's utterly unnecessary. What on Earth is NOT cute and loveable about a NORMAL HEALTHY CHICK!!!???
So back to my original question WHY!!!???
