Before I got muscovy, I thought they were kind of ugly. However, after researching them, I decided to give them a try. Now, I love their looks and behaviors. Their caruncles make them unique.
They are pretty hardy. Easy brooders if that's what you want (so that gets annoying breaking the girls broodiness all of the time). They have cool personalities. You can tell them apart far easier than other ducks.
So my vote is no, muscovy aren't ugly.

I'm not sure, I use to think they was kinda ugly. Mainly those caruncles. The more I have researched on them the less ugly they seem, and just unique. We are now excited to get our little Muscovy ducklings hopefully if everything goes well during their hatch and journey through the PO.
